The Tunnel Pass started in 2009 as a fun concept but evolved into something more significant. It became a symbol with diverse meanings for different people. Whether you still call the island home or have relocated to different corners of the world, a tight-knit community of Virgin Islanders has formed around this iconic pass.

Every two years, a new tunnel pass is released, adorned with a distinct color, mirroring the annual registration changes – except for 2019-2020, when the fictitious tunnel was temporarily closed.

Exciting news awaits in the spring of 2024: a Tunnel Pass clothing line and an array of associated products are set to launch, adding another dimension to this cherished symbol.
